About the Conference

The Annual NIH Interventions Conference convenes principal investigators, key project personnel, invited National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) and Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) staff and other invitees with the primary aim of refining and advancing research focused on underrepresented students in biomedical and behavioral sciences. The conference provides a unique forum in which a cadre of diverse researchers, exploring similar research questions, can identify convergent findings years before these results appear in peer-reviewed publications.
