The UCSF First Generation to College Support Services, LGBT Resource Center, Multicultural Resource Center, the PRIME Program, and the Office of Diversity and Outreach proudly presents "The Prep School Negro", a free campus screening on Thursday, February 6th from 5:15-7pm in Cole Hall.
Andre Robert Lee, a member of the LGBTQ Community, tells us his personal story of growing up in the projects of Philadelphia while earning a scholarship to attend an elite prep school. This important film beautifully addresses the intersectionality of race, gender, and social class, and continues to gain attention nation-wide. The film screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director.
FREE food and treats to the first 100 people at the event.
