Race, Racism, & Health Inequalities

Golden Gate Room in Millberry Union

The Social and Population Sciences Research Consortium (SPaRC) and the Associated Students of the Graduate Division (ASGD) present a panel titled Race, Racism, and Health Inequalities: An Interdisciplinary Conversation Across the Social & Population Sciences featuring UCSF SPaRC faculty who will discuss how to have interdisciplinary conversations around issues of race and health. Faculty representing the diverse disciplines of the consortium will describe how their fields approach these issues as well as the kinds of questions their fields make available, theoretical and methodological strategies employed, and the solutions and/or social implications of this work. A casual reception will follow to provide students with an opportunity to engage with faculty panelists and event attendees about interdisciplinary approaches to race, racism, and health inequality. Please see the flyer below for more details.
