The TRAIN-UP course is a new 2-day intensive course for UCSF basic science graduate students and postdoctoral scholars on how to:

• Effectively hire, train, supervise and mentor team members when building a new research team (including research assistants and associates, graduate students, and post-doctoral scholars)
• Support diversity in your research team, where diversity refers to traditional definitions of gender, racial, cultural, socioeconomic diversity as well diversity of work styles, learning styles, career goals and educational goals.
