Looking for tips and suggestions for grad school? Wondering about the life path for successful women scientists? Attend an informal interview session with Dr. Tanja Kortemme!

Dr. Kortemme earned her PhD in biochemistry from EMBL Heidelberg and University of Hannover. As a professor at UCSF, her research focuses on using computational modeling and experimental engineering to explore the design, evolution and interactions of proteins. This session will be an excellent opportunity for you to hear about Dr. Kortemme's experiences as a woman in science, to ask questions and share your own thoughts, and to meet with peers. All students, post-docs, and staff are welcome and coffee/light snacks will be provided.
