Conflict Resolution for Graduate Students

The purpose of this workshop is to provide foundational training and basic tools for navigating conflicts in various settings. Dr. Mica Estrada, Co Principal Investigator of the BRIDGE Project, will share key principles from the Harvard Program on Negotiation, principles she has practiced and taught for over 15 years.

Whether you work in or out of a lab, Dr. Estrada will walk you through strategies for handling difficult conversations and resolving conflict.

You will get a chance to practice these strategies and learn how to transform difficult conversations into productive ones.

Workshop participants will be able to:

  • Examine different types of conflict
  • Explore healthy ways to address and resolve conflict
  • Assess their personal approach to handling conflict
  • Better understand how different approaches to conflict resolution can have different outcomes
