Tutor low-income Arab Youth in San Francisco

The Arab Cultural and Community Center is now accepting applications for volunteer tutors in the TAMKEEN after-school tutoring/language integration program for low-income Arab K-12 students, in the Tenderloin, San Francisco-- for FEBRUARY-MAY 2015. The Arab Cultural and Community Center works with schools and departments to ensure students in need of volunteer/service hours receive credit as well. Students and professionals from all majors and disciplines are encouraged to apply.

TAMKEEN in Arabic means "empowerment," and the acronym encompasses the organizations strategic goals of "Teaching And Mentoring Kids for Enrichment and Empowerment Now!"
